Finally I just done editing the main visual of our upcoming show: “Vol.17: KISS me…?!”
You may think “Why KISS?” Good question!
One years ago, I talked with Madeline (=my favorite fashion model). She said “I have a “Party Clown” jobs for the KIDS event this weekend….. I have to do makeup jobs by myself…”. I quickly asked her. “Can you do KISS makeup by yourself?” “Sure, it’s easy in 30 minutes!”
Few weeks later, she quickly changed to “GENE SIMMONS” at my camera!! WOW! I have LOVEd the band KISS since my age of 13!! In 1983, Ryu-kun (=my best music friend near my parents’ house) said “Rin, listen to…. “Detroit Rock City” !” I said WOWWWWWW! It was sooo shocked to me!
Another great thing in this main visual is…that Madeline wearing the fantastic blue festival t-shirt, made by Southern CA Blues Society from Long Beach, CA in 1988.
They had organized fantastic blues festival in the summer from the 1980s to mid 1990s near the Queen Mary.
Mike Folmer, one of my best VINTAGE friend, gifted this t-shirts to me many years ago. I love such super KOOL t-shirts: “Hey, BO Diddley!” Thanks so much again, Mike!
Anyway, I am very looking forward to seeing you all on 4/11-12/2025 in Pasadena! “Hey, Bo Diddley!”
